Indonesia Wins, Indra Sjafri Delivers Thanksgiving and Gratitude
U-19 national team coach Indonesia, Indra Sjafri, grateful his team was able to win a landslide over the Philippines.
In the second match of Group B AFF U-18 Cup, Indonesia U-19 national team successfully beat the Philippines with a fantastic score 9-0 at Thuwunna Stadium, Yangon, Thursday (7/9/2017).
The U-19 national team goals were donated by Feby Eka Putra who packed the trigol in the eighth minute, (68 ‘), and (88’), Egy Maulana (22nd and 37th minute), Muhammad Iqbal (26 ‘, 40 ‘), Rafli Mursalim (90 + 1’), and Resky Witriawan (90 + 3 ‘).
“Thank God and grateful we were able to win over the Philippines, especially with a very loud score,” said Indra after the game.
“Appreciation and thanks to players who have struggled in this fight,” said 54-year-old coach.
With this victory, Indonesia topped the standings with six points.
Previously, the troops Indra Sjafri able to subdue host Myanmar with a score of 2-1.
Going forward, Indonesia will meet Vietnam in Group B third match in the AFF Cup U-18 preliminary round.
The match will be held at Thuwanna Stadium, Yangon, Myanmar, on Monday (11/09/2017).
